Another version of Canmore mountain alpenglow taken during sunrise. This place is very picturesque in the morning. Located in the heart of the Canadian Rocky Mountains, Canmore is your ideal base to all your wilderness adventures and sightseeing tours. I've been to this place for a couple of times now and the lights in the mountain are exceptionally breathtaking. I called it my home and landscape playground.. via 500px

THE WATCHMAN IN THE STORM by sean_ensch_images
The iconic Watchman peak in Zion National Park stands through an early spring storm. I spent around ten days in Zion and had nothing but clear blue skies the whole time, which made great hiking weather, but not so photogenic. Then on the day before we were leaving, a huge rain storm came in and it poured all day, then passed the park just as the sun was dipping low in the horizon. It made a blast of color for about fifteen minutes, then waned in to blue hour. seanenschimages.com http://ift.tt/1qCp1On via 500px

Poseidon's Mistresses by snyder7

This was shot a couple of weeks ago, while visiting Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Isla Mujeres is a beautiful, tiny island 13 miles east of Cancun, Mexico. The island features white sandy beaches on the west side, but it's nothing but sharp rocks on the east. These rocks are extremely sharp and any false move and you'll end up needing stitches. I killed a pair of Crocs and managed to nick on of my ankles while exploring the area. But the amazing light I was treated to during our stay makes up for any lost sandals or scars on skin This particular image was taken a few minutes prior to sunrise, a couple of days before the Winter Solstice. via 500px
