This was shot a couple of weeks ago, while visiting Isla Mujeres, Mexico. Isla Mujeres is a beautiful, tiny island 13 miles east of Cancun, Mexico. The island features white sandy beaches on the west side, but it's nothing but sharp rocks on the east. These rocks are extremely sharp and any false move and you'll end up needing stitches. I killed a pair of Crocs and managed to nick on of my ankles while exploring the area. But the amazing light I was treated to during our stay makes up for any lost sandals or scars on skin This particular image was taken a few minutes prior to sunrise, a couple of days before the Winter Solstice. via 500px
