Night Symphony by iluvmtns2

Looks really great when viewed on a black screen. The moon is this image was a crescent moon about 4 days old, which still allowed me to see and capture the Milky Way. Because I only had a 17mm lens with me rather than a 14mm lens I took three shots and then blended together so as to have both the moon and the Milky Way in the scene. The Milky Way extended over my head all the way to the horizon to the south. Just so amazing to see but unable to capture without looking straight up and shooting many shots and then blending together. The wind was strong and really cold, thank goodness the Joshua Trees don't move a lot. They were moving some taking away some of the sharpness on the trees and ground bushes. Thank you Marc Adamus for an exceptional workshop, I learn so much from you. Can't say enough good about you and your workshop. via 500px
