THE WATCHMAN IN THE STORM by sean_ensch_images

The iconic Watchman peak in Zion National Park stands through an early spring storm. I spent around ten days in Zion and had nothing but clear blue skies the whole time, which made great hiking weather, but not so photogenic. Then on the day before we were leaving, a huge rain storm came in and it poured all day, then passed the park just as the sun was dipping low in the horizon. It made a blast of color for about fifteen minutes, then waned in to blue hour. seanenschimages.com http://ift.tt/1qCp1On via 500px

Pierced by Pcoskun

Nothing really extravagant here, sharp teddy bear cholla, some peaks off to the distance and some nice sunset light. Hoping to get into some newer locations soon. via 500px

This is such a beautiful area, but one must be cautious walking around here when the light begins to fade... via 500px

Kanarra Ice by BillRatcliffe

There were some COLD and icy conditions up at Kanarra Falls yesterday morning after the Christmas day snowstorm and recent cold snap ... It was slow going up the canyon with all the ice and snow, but a great sight once we got up to the falls via 500px
