I've tried to re-create the look and feel of an image I've seen previously of a bald eagle. It was pretty dark and moody as a shot and I think this one comes close. I think the high contrasts of the eagles colouring lends itself to this kind of look and think it works pretty well. This was taken at the hawk conservancy trust in the uk so a captive bald eagle. Even so I think it makes a great image via 500px
