Binevenagh god rays by tony-moore3

Binevenagh's cliff face stands at the head of our Sperrin Mountain range where they meet the sea on Derry's North Coast. Just beyond that you can see the Roe river Estuary then Lough Foyle with Donegal beyond that.Recently Game of Thrones was filmed there as was Dracula Untold (nearby). It also made the news again more recently with the disappearance of a six-foot sculpture of the Celtic sea god Manannan Mac Lir from the mountainside, not far from where this image was taken. It wasn't me, I swear!. I took a series of shots there of these sun rays beaming over the landscape, hand held one evening back in November 2012. I was commissioned recently to do a North Coast image for a nice couple who came from the area, so I stitched them together (the photos, not the couple), to make one large panoramic image and this was the result. via 500px
