In the center of Nevestino is situated an impressive architectural monument known as Kadin Bridge (Bride's Bridge). This is a mediaval 100 m long bridge build over the river Struma and has five circle vaults , the highest of which is in the middle. It is covered with granite slabs some of which have inscriptions taken form ancient ruins.The lower parts of the columns are wedge-shaped and stick out to cleave the waters. Every column has an overreached window functioning as drainage for the water at hight tides.It is decorated with stalactite ornaments and rosettes.The architecture of bridge is a mixture of ancient, medieval and Renaissance elements. There is a granite plate with an inscription in Turkish built in the southern part of the eastern parapet. This inscription says that the bridge was built on the orders of Vezir Pasha in 874 form Egira (1470). via 500px
