Crack of dawn by RilindHoxha

Today i had the opportunity to shoot the ancient part of Rome, known as the Roman Forum. i had a walk around the city since it took me a while to get there, through the early morning and i was almost hopeless about the sky, but yet when i approached the old city some colors begun to pop in the clouds. I rushed a little to arrive to the location i intended to shoot and started to look for the perfect angle, the colors in the sky were just amazing. and i was super excited to have the opportunity to at least see this natural phenomenon and even more capture that with my camera. It was simply stunning I did 3 shots for this one (bracketed -1,0,+1) and than blended basically the 0 and +1 exposure since thats all i needed to achieve the perfect balance of light, the shot was fantastic from camera and very minor changes have been done in post processing, like some color correction in the foreground and also removing the tint from the sky reflection on the pavement via 500px

Like A Dream by eyexplorearth

Here is my second picture of my trip to Italy, Rome! This time, showcasing the beautiful Castel Sant'Angelo and the great bridge of the same name leading to it. The conditions for the end of this afternoon were absolutely perfect. The sunset glow was really stunning. Everything looked so peaceful. This is a digital blending made of several shots, with different exposures and focus. Feel free to leave me a comment and tell me what you do think about my photo. It's encouraged to see this picture in black. Press 'H' for this! Thanks for the overwhelming support of my last picture! :) © 2015 Marius Moragues via 500px

Heavenly Night In Rome! by eyexplorearth

Here is the first photo of my trip to Rome, Italy! I got lucky enough not to be caught by the security since the tripod was prohibited but couldn't resist to use it in front of this beautiful panoramic view. I decide to post this first photo as I didn't see plenty of same shots on 500px, so I hope you'll enjoy the photo! My favorite technique in 2014 was to blend different pictures into an only one in order to get the maximum of dynamic range, I hope 2015 will be the year where I will perfect this natural technique. This picture is a digital blending of several shots of different exposures and focus. Please view it in black. Comments are always welcome. In two weeks, I'm traveling to Southeast Asia and will start a photography project, you're welcome to follow me if you like my work. :) I would like to wish to all the 500px community a very happy new year! All my best wishes for this new year! :) via 500px
