Cape Greko Sunset View, Cyprus by Jokerf1

I was running like crazy to catch the sunset at this place, i was late few minutes it seems, but the sky has kept the colors or at-least the after-sunset colors. I set my tripod with my Canon EOS 600d and the beloved AF-S NIKKOR 14-24mm f/2.8G ED and captured the sky and the sea. I took multiple shots that allowed me to blend them and have an evenly expose photo. There could be more action in the sea but for some reason when i see this photo it express to me some calmness and peace in my mind. I can sit and stare it for minutes. Live every moment and appreciate the beauty of nature. If you are a photographer try capture it, even if you don't capture it be greatful for the chance you had been given to see it with your own eyes. View to the mountains by Jokerf1

We were on our way to the mountains and we have had a stop here cause the view was so majestic. I put my tripod and took 8 shots with 1 EV interval. Then i have processed it through Photomatix Pro and made additional enhancements to photoshop. I love this shot because i feel it gives so much depth and has some leading lines into it. The horizon was crystal clear and allowed me to capture more detail in the background. This was shot with my trusty kit lens EF-S 18-55 IS II on my Canon 600d.
