[This is definitely best viewed on black.] I didn't find a whole lot of photographic inspiration from within the ice caves of the Mendenhall Glacier during this past year, so I looked into the archives for images from years gone by. There have been times that this cave warranted its status as something of an international icon among landscape photographers, and I've been blessed to have been around for most of those times. Sadly, I wouldn't be surprised if the best of this cave is behind us, but even as the opportunities for photographs dwindle, the opportunities for wonderful memories to be formed with friends and family have not been diminished. via 500px

Fishing For Salmon by KevinMorgansPhotography
I was looking for a high impact shot of the bear running into the water trying to catch salmon. So I decide to put the 1.4 convector on my 500mm to get right into the action. This image definitely portrays what I was looking for. To see more please visit www.kbmwildlife.com via 500px
