This little owl almost came within my minimum focusing distance which made the DoF extremely shallow. Fortunately I got the eyes sharp. And yes, it's a completely wild owl. No bait or anything else was used to encourage it to come this close. It simply did not see me as a threat (I used my vehicle as a blind). via 500px
