a hint of wind by DJLee
From my Japanese Maple tree, these so called "helicopter" seeds are delicate beauties. This is deliberate double exposure image to try and capture the feel of these seeds blowing gently in the breeze, in and out of the light. via 500px

black beauty by DeSelby
"Hepatica is named from its leaves, which, like the human liver (Greek hepar), have three lobes. It was once used as a medicinal herb. Owing to the doctrine of signatures, the plant was once thought to be an effective treatment for liver disorders. Although poisonous in large doses, the leaves and flowers may be used as an astringent, as a demulcent for slow-healing injuries, and as a diuretic." Keel Billed Toucan Forums by DonHamiltonJr
The keel-billed toucan (Ramphastos sulfuratus), also known as sulfur-breasted toucan or rainbow-billed toucan, is a colorful Latin American member of the toucan family. A factoid: It is the national bird of Belize. Love these guys. Thought I'd include the nature side lighting, and Flora. These guys love to hang out in the wet and humid low lands. of Costa Rica.No flash, nature lighting, and chose to include the large bromeliads to the left. Taking risks to get the image. 5 seconds per shot on a very hot lava lobe , 5 attempts per pair of shoes, a bill for equipment repairs, and a priceless image. I am sure you are all out there taking risks as well. Aloha via 500px

3rd Avenue Blues by lazydesperados
Sitting on a fire escape on the corner of 13th. and 3rd just watching the cars go by. As you feel that winter time blues slowing fading away. Making way for a new day on that east village corner. Tranquil evening in Lemaire Channel by mreyfman
Lemaire Channel is a strait off Antarctica, between Kiev Peninsula in the mainland and Booth Island. Steep cliffs hem in the iceberg-filled strait, which is 11 km long and narrows to just 1600 meters wide. Protected waters here are often as still as a lake (a rarity in the storm-wracked Southern Ocean). There still some time to jump on board of Wild Photo Travel November 2015 South Georgia Expedition Please contact me via email photo@mikereyfman.com for more info or click on link above and use built-in feature to get funny translation) via 500px

Saturday evening i.e. 28.3.15 was the time for the Zuru Nightglow for the Balloon Festival held in Hamilton of New Zealand. Rather than flying high in the sky, the balloons were stationed on ground and made to glow in the dark. It was a spectacular moment for everyone. via 500px
