The islet of the Doves by cresendephotography

Baleal is a small peninsula (formerly island) located north of Peniche, in the region west of Portugal, separated from the mainland by a tombolo, forming a beach of fine white sand. Continuing the cove there are also the islet of the Doves and the Out islet. The Baleal inherited the name of the function that these rocks played in the past as whaling site.
