Waking up on subarctic temperatures, wading through knee deep snow, scouting for new locations and enjoying nature's showcase are some of the few reasons why I enjoy doing this adventure. Lake Louise is surrounded by beautiful mountains and a majestic Victoria Glacier which offers activities such as snow-shoeing, skiing, snowboarding, hiking, and skating. It also houses one of the Rockies most iconic hotel that was built more than a century ago, The Fairmont Chateau Hotel. Luckily blessed with a crisp and clear yet freezing sunrise weather during the last few days of 2014. A classic view of Lake Louise in winter. I can spend the whole day shooting here. Can't way to visit and experience an emerald lake during summer and spring seasons. via 500px
