Hello Light Lovers, ( Black View Only) I am a bit confused as to call this Goodbye 2014 or Welcome 2015. This was shot in 2014 and as per timings downunder is posted in 2015. 2014 has been a fascinating journey in my photography carrier and I was able to tick quite a few(from thousands) of my bucket list. But the surprise came at the end of 2014 when a chance visit to Sydney and a lst miniute dash to Kiama(Bombo Quarry) made me end the year of a personal high. I had planned a visit for a long time but never materialized, however this time not only did I reach sydney but my friend Lin Zee was able to drive me all the way down to this magical place. We were joined in this adventure by Jodie Taylor as well. And believe me friends, we were greeted by one of the most spectacular sunrises, I have ever seen. I had planned well for the trip: Charged batteries, new 128GB card, new filter bag etc etc. I set the tripod, opened the bag and @@@@@, I forgot my filter pouch in the car. Well it had to happen. Run,. run, run. I knew the light would last for 15-20 minutes(max). I came back sweating and saw Lin drenched by the waves. I got a few more minutes of the magical light but I think I got enough(I cant complain). Enjoy the view and the Light. Have a Enlightened New Year. via 500px
