Glacial RGB by dwnphoto
You're looking at a landscape in the western part of Norway. The bit of fjord seen here is some 200 kilometers inland from the Atlantic Ocean, however the water is still regular sea water. For what it's worth, I believe the docked fishing vessel is there for the seasonal Sprat fishery, a tiny creature abundant in the cold deep fjords. A 25 second exposure shot at 135 mm for some compression. The glacier in the distance is probably 30-40 kilometers away. Captured a second shot focusing on the glacier for sharpness throughout. Thanks for viewing and please share any thoughts you may have. via 500px
Archipelago by borisss1982
----> My Facebook Page ----> My Flickr Page ----> My 500px Page I've been waiting for a long time for this moment. And then it's here-very good conditions for formation at sunrise in Palatine Forest(Rhineland-Palatinate). The location was chosen the day before. It should be Castle Wegelnburg in the southern Palatinate region- one of the most beautiful places in Germany. 2,5 hours of driving and 40 min uphill walking have been worth the effort. It was the most gorgeous view I ever saw in my life. --- If You are interested in a digital copy or a poster of the photograph (or other photographs), please just drop me an Email on b.jordan@gmx.net ***** Lange habe ich auf den Moment gewartet und nun ist er endlich gekommen-stabile Nebellage zum Sonnenaufgang im Pfälzerwald.

The Ones That Mark The Beginning by PaulHsieh
This kind of cherry blossoms is usually the first to bloom. They last for about two to three weeks roughly. A short period of time, but when we see them, we know winter is over. So their existence actually mark the beginning of spring! via 500px

To the Summit by BaberAfzal
Taken on the same day when I went out shooting with John, Ian and Sally. I have to admit that this was a really hard one to shoot because the sand was so soft that I kept on sinking along with my tripod. I had to remain still with my legs partially submerged in sand for almost 15 minutes to get this right! Loved how the sand was drifting off the sand dune due to the strong winds and being complemented by the beautiful sun rays as well! via 500px

Bronze Invasion by StefanHefele
"Bronze Invasion" - Oregon Coast I´m preparing myself onto a new adventure with lots of sea and coastal landscapes. Then this photo from past year of the rough Oregon coast came into my mind. Many photographers have already photographed this place, but for me it was the first time. And as everyone knows, the first time is always something magic. Prints and licensing available. The Calm Before The Storm by flubwubs
An often used viewpoint to capture the iconic peak of Buachaille Etive Mor, hopefully made a little different by the inclusion of the small twin eddies of water in the stream below. 12 hours after this was taken a massive blizzard swept across the mountains here, so i was lucky to grab this before the weather closed in. via 500px
Barn and Rainbow Palouse by phillips_chip
I've been thinking about the Palouse so thought I'd upload an image from harvest season. It is such a peaceful time of year down there-small crowds and the potential for some pretty dramatic scenes. Many techniques used on this image are demonstrated in my editing videos: Image Editing Volume 1 via 500px
